I met Christina through a lovely nurse that I work with. She had recently gotten engaged and was planning a wedding for December 29th, 2014, only a few months away. She was in school in North Carolina, meanwhile her fiancee Aaron is in the military and was in California. This would be the time they could be together to become husband and wife. Andrew and I met her only a week before the wedding, after her semester ended and she was back in Pittsburgh. I figured she would be totally stressed out with all she had to do in such a little time period, and have a million questions for Andrew and I- I was prepared for a terribly anxious bride. The second she said hello though, her sweet smile and calm demeanor encouraged me. I knew we would get along great, and this was going to be an awesome wedding to shoot. She wasn't stressed (or at least she didn't show it!) and simply said "I don't really care much about the details, I just can't wait to get married." Her dad Ray was with her, and by the end of our meeting over coffee, we felt like we were practically already part of the family, and were beyond excited to be a part of their big day.
When the wedding day came, it was a rainy, cold December day. But yet again, Christina's positive, excited attitude, and the love between her and Aaron made the weather irrelevant. The night went by so quickly. We laughed, we cried, we danced, and we had an incredible time documenting the whole thing. We felt so honored that Aaron and Christina trusted us to take their photos, but they truly made it easy. Their love and excitement for their future was contagious. We are truly SO happy for them and are thrilled for them as the Lord works out His plan for them.
Thank you to both of their amazing families for being so fun and wonderful to work with- and simply to hang out with.
